Jausenstation Gamsvroni is located in Bockbach near Steeg. The Jausenstation is about 500 m after the Vorderen Bockbachalpe. The starting point for a hike to Jausenstation Gamsvroni is the Krabach/Bockbach junction on the main road between Steeg and Warth. There is also a parking lot and a bus stop for the hiking bus. The hike to Bockbach to theJausenstation Gamsvroni runs along a narrow asphalt road. However, only residents are permitted to drive on motorized vehicles. The road has a slight to moderate gradient and is therefore suitable for all age groups. About halfway you pass the mountain pasture village Birchetsgump. The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. You also have the possibility to take the “Alten Bockbacher Weg” from Birchetsgump. However, this is quite narrow and in places steep. The alpine region in Bockbach is known for its diverse flora and fauna. The Gamsvroni hut is usually open from the beginning of June to the beginning of October. Those who want to hike further in Bockbach have the possibility to hike further to the Älpele or to the Hinteren Bockbachalpe (No hosting). In summer 2022 the Jausenstation Gamsvroni is always open from Thursday to Sunday.
