The Reuttener Hut is located at 1740 m in the Lechtal Alps near Rinnen village and Berwang village. The hut is characterized by its extremely beautiful location in the immediate vicinity of Alpe Raaz alpine pasture with its extensive alpine meadows. Reuttener Hut is only indirectly connected to the other huts in the Lechtal Alps. The Anhalter Hut, which can be reached via the mountain village Namlos in approx. 6 hours, is the next hiker's hut. Reuttener Hut is run as a self-catering house and is open all year round. (alpine club key required!) The Alpine Club hut has 28 mattress dormitory places and is partly looked after by a hut keeper on weekends. Accommodation prices are €10 for members of the Alpine Club and €15 for non-members. Children and young people pay €5 and €10 respectively. The Reuttener Hut can be reached from several sides. The shortest ascent leads via channels to the hut in about 2 hours. Further possibilities lead from Weißenbach via the Rotlechtal valley, Bichlbach via Berwang and Rinnen and from Ehenbichl near Reutte via Rieden and the Rotlechtal valley to the Alpine Club hut. The Reuttener Hut is an excellent base for mountain tours in the surrounding area. The most famous peaks in the area are the 2112 m high Galtjoch mountain and the ascent from the hut takes about 1.5 hours. Other popular peaks are the 2004 m high Reinberg mountain, the 1964 m high Abendspitze peak and the 2378 m high Knittelkarspitze peak. The area around the Reuttener Hut is a very popular ski touring area both in summer as a hiking area and in winter.
