Mountain tour to the Bretterspitze

The 2608 m high Bretterspitze is a popular peak in the Allgäu Alps and lies between Häselgehr and Hinterhornbach. The tour to Bretterspitze started early in the morning in the side valley community of Hinterhornbach. From there it went in constant gradient up to the 2007 m high located Kaufbeurer house. The further course of the tour ran over extensive scree fields and rocky terrain to the summit of the 2608 m high Bretterspitze. After an extensive rest we went over the Griesschartl and the Hagler valley to Häselgehr in the Lechtal.

The tour to the top of the board requires sure-footedness, alpine experience and freedom from dizziness. Some places are insured with wire ropes.
