The mountain tour to the 2226 m high Jöchelspitze starts at the valley station of the Lechtaler Bergbahnen in the Bacher district Benglerwald. You can get here either by car (parking space available), by bus or on foot. The trail continues along a forest road to the top station of the Lechtal mountain railways. The top station is at about 1800 m, during the season you can also take the lift here. At the top station the wide forest path ends and a path continues uphill over the alpine mountain pastures. After about 3 hours you reach the top of the grass mountain. Another ascent starts in Holzgau and leads over the Schiggen on a marked path to Jöchelspitze. Walking time about 3 to 4 hours. Pedalling safety required on all routes! From the summit, it is about 1.5 hours to the Lechtal panorama trail to Bernhardseck, Holzgau or again to Bach or the mountain station "Lechtaler Bergbahnen".
