The 2533 m high Ramstallspitze is a peak in a branch of the Allgäu Alps. The mountain lies between the Krottenkopf and the Strahlkopf. The ascent to the summit begins in Bach at the valley station of the Lechtaler Bergbahnen. The starting point can easily be reached with the hiking bus and there are also some parking spaces. Follow the forest path in the direction of Jöchelspitze along the mountain railway. Just above the top station you reach the Lachenkopf. From here the Lechtaler Panoramaweg leads to the Rothornjoch and then to the Karjoch between Strahlkopf and Ramstallspitze. The further ascent to the top of Ramstallspitze takes place without a path with easy climbing in northern direction It is also possible to climb more difficult from the north via the Krottenkopfscharte. Very loose and fragile terrain. There is no path on either route in the summit area, partly exposed. Stepping safety, alpine experience and freedom from vertigo are required for an ascent.
