The 3rd stage of the Lechweg leads from Warth am Arlberg to the centre of Steeg. Warth is a small village near the Tyrolean border. The hiking bus runs several times a day between the Lechtal and Warth, making the starting point of this stage very easy to reach with the hiking bus. In Lechleiten, a district of the municipality of Steeg, there is a popular climbing garden with just over 30 routes. This stage of the Lechweg offers unique insights into the natural purity of the upper Lechtal. This stage begins at about 1500 m above sea level and ends at 1122 m in the centre of Steeg.

In Warth a small path leads to the bridge over the Krumbach. We continue to Gehren and Lechleiten to the climbing garden Schrofenwies. The Lechweg continues along the northern side of the Lechtal to Hinterellenbogen. In Hinterellenbogen the path crosses the main road and leads over the district "Welzau" to Steeg. The 3rd stage of the Lechweg also ends here.
