Kaisers is a small mountain village in a side valley of the upper Lechtal. The village can be reached via a 5 km long country road from Steeg. The 80 inhabitant village is a scattered settlement and consists of two larger districts, namely Kienberg and the capital Kaisers. Kaisers is particularly popular with nature lovers, mountaineers, hikers and holidaymakers seeking peace and quiet. The village itself lies at about 1530 m and is the highest municipality of the district Reutte. A well-known sight is the pilgrimage church dedicated to the holy mother Anna. In Kaisers there are 2 guesthouses and an alpine clubhouse, the Edelweisshaus. The Edelweisshaus is located near the centre of the village and can be reached by car. In summer, the hiking bus stops in the immediate vicinity. Kaisers is an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours in the Lechtal Alps. In the surroundings of Kaisers there are numerous alpine pastures, such as the Bodenalm, the Erlachalm in the Almajur valley and the Kaiseralm in the Kaisertal. The Alpine Club huts in the immediate vicinity are the Kaiserjochhaus, the Stuttgarter Hut and the Leutkircher Hut. The most famous peaks near Kaisers are the Holzgauer Wetterspitze and the Feuerspitze.
